Mental Fitness Leader & Creative Communicator
My entire career has focused on empowering people to thrive—to live happier, healthier, and more productive lives.
Over the past two decades, I’ve provided communications and brand management for several health and education organizations, developed employee wellness and inclusion initiatives, and led an incredible youth art mentor program called Art Buddies.
Prior to leading Art Buddies, I founded Scott Mikesh Creative, a multimedia communications and design firm.
Business achievements aside, one of my greatest challenges has been battling anxiety, that I’ve struggled with most of my life. As a closeted gay kid, I developed a deeply-rooted sense of shame, and constantly worried how others judged me. I know how debilitating that level of chronic anxiety can be—how it can drain your confidence and motivation, and deteriorate your health and happiness.
Thankfully, as an adult I realized the positive impact of self-acceptance, forgiveness, rest, mindfulness, setting achievable goals, eating well, creating, and exercising, and how our mind and body are invariably interconnected in profound ways.
In 2016, I earned my personal training certification and combined my background in social psychology, wellness, and the arts to develop 4D Fit℠—to empower people (including myself) to feel better, live healthier, and be happier by focusing on mental fitness.
I like to add that I am my first student, as I continue my own fitness practices and champion others as well.
A healthy environment is critical to our health and success, and a large part of our environment is other people. That is why I am immensely grateful for the team of Advisors who have supported me and my mental fitness efforts along the way.
Here's to you achieving your goals, and being your best!
