Is your knowledge base outdated?

Do you still...

✔️ believe in the Freudian "ego" (theorized in the 1890s) without understanding modern discoveries of the brain?

✔️ believe in "willpower" without understanding neurochemistry?

✔️ believe people should do what they're told without understanding what drives healthful motivation and behaviors?

✔️ expect people to practice empathy (or any other healthful habit) without understanding brain function or the impact of invisible mental influences, health conditions, neurological disorders, trauma and abuse, neurochemical imbalance, or cognitive impairment?

✔️ judge "bad" behavior without understanding (or caring for) the neurochemistry that drives it?

✔️ separate mental health and function from brain health and function?

✔️ use the terms "mental health" and "mental illness" synonymously?

✔️ only discuss diversity, equity, and inclusion in terms of observable physical characteristics and cultural traits without awareness of brain health, development, or function that drive all thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and well-being?

If you answered “YES” to any of the above, then it’s time to update your knowledge base.

Explore programs to learn how YOU can feel and do YOUR best while empowering others to do the same, by promoting brain health, mental well-being, and neurodiversity.
