Does YOUR org connect DEI+ with well-being?

A quote from ‘MY BRAIN CAN’T POOP: A mental fitness guide for humans’

"When we dismiss or deny the function of the brain, we prolong the cycle of dysfunction and pain."

It’s time to make the neuro-connection

The Mental Fitness movement continues to grow and evolve as we REteach and REdefine what “fitness” actually means (i.e., beyond physical abilities, what drives our ability to thrive in our environment?).

Let’s work TOGETHER to shed the shame and stigma that surrounds mental, emotional, and behavioral health to empower every person to feel and do THEIR best, by understanding the neurological connections that power us all — that might change each day depending on an individual’s body chemistry, neurological influences, and life circumstances (e.g., social, environmental, nutritional, genetic, etc.).

Does your org connect DEI+ with well-being?

While a healthy, balanced, nourished, hydrated, flexible, resilient, well-rested, well cared for, and fully developed nervous system drives healthful thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, an unhealthy, imbalanced, malnourished, dehydrated, over-stressed, abused, unrested, neglected, and under-developed nervous system drives unhealthful thoughts, feelings, and behaviors just the same.

When it comes to maintaining healthful influences that support healthful neurological activity, how does YOUR org connect DEI+ (diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, safety, justice, etc.) with well-being (mental, emotional, behavioral, physical, etc.) to achieve healthful outcomes?

Are YOU ready to flip fitness (and DEI+) on its head to focus on the driver of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors — including brain health, mental function, and neurodiversity — to achieve healthful outcomes?

Let’s connect to make the neuro-connection!

Wishing you a HOPEFUL, HEALTHFUL, HEALING, and HAPPY New Year — in that order, to maintain healthful motivation that fuels healing habits to enjoy more happy moments!
